The IVF unit ‘Embryo ART’ was founded in the year 2006 by three specialists in Assisted Reproduction, Dr E.Makrakis, Dr D.Giannaris and Dr D. Hassiakos, according to the regulations of the National Authority for Medically Assisted Reproduction.

The posts of Scientific and Laboratory Directors of ‘Embryo ART’ are held by Dr E.Makrakis and Dr D.Giannaris.

The Unit has its premises at 194, Alexandras Avenue, Athens GR-11522, in a modern place prepared by people specialized in the sector of Assisted Reproduction. The embryological laboratory, oocyte retrieval and recovery rooms meet exactly the international specifications for their operation, are equipped with devices of ultimate technology, ensuring safety, convenience, and privacy. The waiting, ultrasonographic examination and interview rooms are independent, designed to create a cozy, quiet and modern environment.

Approaching the Unit is quite easy, only a few meters away from the ‘Ambelokipi’ Metro station, with three car parking centers nearby. For couples travelling from abroad, there are at least two hotels in a very short distance from the Unit (Alexandros Hotel, 8 Tim.
